12 Years Too Much

I read today on the BBC technology news page that Duke Nukem Forever developer, 3D Realms, was closed down today. I must admit that I was shocked when I read the news. I shouldn’t have been really considering that they were working on DNF for the last 12 years which in all fairness is a tad excessive for any title – given that money needs to be made at some point. Hey – don’t get me wrong – HDTP is on year 7 so I’m not one to talk! But – it’s always sad to hear a veteran game company dissappear into the ether.

    Well, black isle dropped ‘van buren’ and fallout 3 was still finished, so dnf might live yet!

    was a shame to hear about 3dr, though :s
